Job summary

SSE Energy Solutions – Smart Buildings is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to deliver BMS projects across London and the South East. You will commission installations, develop software strategies and graphics, and conduct wiring checks and plant start-ups.

The role requires experience with Siemens PX and Trend IQ4, excellent communication and reporting skills, and a full driving licence for frequent travel. Competitive package and benefits available.

Qualifications

• Experience commissioning BMS and control systems, especially with Siemens PX and Trend IQ4 controls.
• Exceptional communication and reporting skills to maintain relationships with team members and customers.
• Experience crafting your own software strategies and graphics.
• A full driving licence due to frequent travel.

Responsibilities

• Commission the installation of BMS and control systems as outlined by the Project Manager.
• Craft your own software strategies and graphics engineering.
• Perform physical wiring checks and plant start-ups.
• Provide technical support to other trades and sub-contractors.
• Carry out troubleshooting to diagnose system defects.
