Job summary

SSE Energy Solutions – Smart Buildings is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to deliver BMS projects across the Midlands. You’ll be field based with support from our Birmingham team, commissioning installations and developing software strategies.

The role requires experience with Siemens PX and Trend IQ4, strong communication, and a full driving licence for travel. We offer a permanent full-time position with a car or allowance and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

Experience commissioning BMS and Control systems, especially Siemens PX and Trend IQ4.
Exceptional communication and reporting skills to maintain strong relationships with team members and customers.
Experience crafting your own software strategies and graphics.
Full driving licence due to frequent travel.

Responsibilities

Commission the installation of BMS and Control systems outlined by the Project Manager.
Compose your own software strategies and graphics engineering.
Perform physical wiring checks and plant start-ups.
Provide technical support to other trades and sub-contractors.
Carry out troubleshooting to diagnose system defects.
