Job summary

SSE Energy Solutions – Smart Buildings is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to deliver BMS projects across London and the South East. You will commission installations, develop software strategies and graphics, and conduct wiring checks and plant start-ups.

The role requires experience with Siemens PX and Trend IQ4, excellent communication and reporting skills, and a full driving licence for frequent travel. Competitive package and benefits available.

Base Location: Field based covering London and South East England.

The role

As our Commissioning Engineer you'll play a critical role in delivering key projects to our clients. You will be field based covering London and the South East of England.
You’ll deliver some exciting BMS projects, using the latest technologies and developments across multiple sectors, such as commercial offices, healthcare and datacentres.

You will

• Commission the installation of BMS and Control systems outlined by the Project Manager.
• Compose your own software strategies and graphics engineering.
• Perform physical wiring checks and plant start-ups.
• Provide technical support to other trades and sub-contractors.
• Carry out troubleshooting to diagnose system defects.

You have

• Experience commissioning BMS and Control systems, especially with Siemens PX and Trend IQ4 controls.
