Job summary

FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies in Billingham is seeking a Head of Maintenance and Reliability to lead site-wide maintenance, calibration, utilities, and asset reliability to ensure GMP-compliant performance and uninterrupted production.

You will build and mentor a multi-disciplinary team, set strategies, KPIs, and collaborate across operations, QA, EHS, and external partners to safeguard product quality and supply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 12+ years in maintenance/reliability leadership in GMP manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of cGMPs, validation/qualification and audits.
• Hands-on with critical utilities and biotech process systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the site’s maintenance and reliability strategy and roadmap.
• Ensure equipment, utilities, and facilities are maintained and available.
• Establish and track KPIs to improve uptime, cost, quality, safety.
• Coordinate with operations, QA, EHS, Facilities, IT/OT, and OEMs.
• Own CMMS governance, calibration programs, and spare parts strategy.
• Lead safe work systems and compliance for pressure/electrical systems.
• Build and mentor a multi-disciplinary team and drive RCA.
