  • Own maintenance standards, procedures, CMMS governance, calibration programs, and engineering stores/spare parts strategy.
  • Lead safe systems of work and Permit‑to‑Work processes; ensure technical capability for statutory compliance in pressure systems, electrical, lifting equipment, and safe management of engineering work.
  • Build and mentor a multi‑disciplinary team (maintenance, reliability, utilities, calibration/metrology, planners); drive root cause analysis and reliability improvements.
  • Manage third‑party service providers and contractors; set quality expectations and handover standards for installations and projects.
What you’ll bring

Primary education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial) or related field; equivalent military/industrial experience considered.
12+ years of maintenance/reliability leadership in GMP‑regulated manufacturing (biotech/biopharma preferred), including leading multi‑disciplinary teams.
Demonstrated ownership of planning/scheduling, work control, CMMS, and performance metrics.
Strong knowledge of cGMPs, change control, validation/qualification, deviations/CAPAs, and audit readiness.
Hands‑on experience with critical utilities and process systems typical to biotech, cleanroom HVAC/controls, and sterile/aseptic support systems.
