Job summary

Anglian Water Group Ltd. is seeking a Standards and Resource Governance Lead to establish a consistent, auditable maintenance approach across Bioresources assets. You will drive policy, standards, and technical documentation.

You will manage competency, authorisation and specialist resources, ensuring safety, risk-based decisions and alignment with regulatory and process safety requirements. Hybrid working with regional base and site travel.

Qualifications

• Experience developing or governing maintenance standards and procedures.
• Understanding of competency management and training records.
• Knowledge of health and safety, regulatory and process safety expectations.

Responsibilities

• Own maintenance policy and standards across Bioresources assets.
• Develop and govern maintenance standards, procedures and docs.
• Identify gaps and create risk-based, value-driven standards.
• Ensure standards align with regulatory and safety requirements.
• Provide assurance against OEM standards and statutory requirements.
• Create clear reporting on compliance, competency and maintenance activity.
• Collaborate with teams to address variances and drive corrective actions.
• Maintain competency frameworks, training records and authorisation requirements.
• Define technical and competency needs for standby and out-of-hours maintenance.
• Develop resilience plans for critical skills and assets.
