About

Fantastic opportunity to join a successful pharmaceutical company based near London, supporting the development of the company’s drug pipeline.

Working closely within a team of scientists, you will use the latest SPR technology to study small molecule-drug target interactions as part of the company’s drug discovery and screening process. There will also be opportunities to gain hands-on experience with automation and robotics to achieve high-throughput processes.

Responsibilities
  1. Running SPR-based fragment screens and characterising molecular binding and kinetics.
  2. Supporting screening cascades with thermal shift assays and other orthogonal techniques.
  3. Exploring how AI tools can enhance experimental workflows and data interpretation.
  4. Collaborating across multidisciplinary teams to deliver impactful results.
Candidate Profile
  • A passion for biophysics and drug discovery.
  • A solid understanding of Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) and other biophysical techniques.
  • An adaptable, team-oriented approach and a willingness to learn.
