The Cellular Pathology laboratory at 60 Whitfield Street (60WS) is a consolidated service involving the Royal Free Hospital (RFH), University College London Hospitals (UCLH), Whittington Health (WH), Barnet & Chase Farm (B&CF), and the North Middlesex University Hospital (NMUH). Our new, purpose-designed laboratory opened in January 2020, featuring entirely new equipment, and houses one of the largest Cellular Pathology services in Europe. Working closely with academic partners in UCL and other research bodies, the service is a major centre for clinical trials. HSL Cellular Pathology is UKAS Accredited (No. 9706), and also hosts the HSL-Advanced Diagnostics service.
