A leading NHS Trust is seeking a passionate Biomedical Scientist to join their Virology laboratory team in Hull. Virology biomedical scientists are responsible for the diagnosis of infection and disease processes by the application of biological, serological and molecular technology, utilizing the most up-to-date scientific methods.
We are seeking a Biomedical Scientist to join our dedicated team of Biomedical Scientists, Associate Practitioners, and Medical Laboratory Assistants in the Virology laboratory at the Hull site. Diagnostic work includes examining patient samples such as blood, respiratory samples, and cerebrospinal fluid using manual and automated techniques.
This vacancy will be considered for a secondment opportunity. Please note: if you would like your application to be considered for secondment, you must secure agreement from your line manager beforehand that you can be released to undertake the role.
The position may become permanent at the end of this Fixed Term/Secondment.
