Job summary

Mott MacDonald Bentley is seeking a BIM Technician to deliver CAD/BIM design data and ensure quality control across major water projects. You will use 3D modelling to support collaboration, clash resolution, and data capture within Autodesk BIM360.

The role includes developing BIM libraries, validating supplier models, and guiding junior technicians while ensuring BIM data is managed within the common data environment throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Recognised qualification in CAD/BIM or related field.
• Proficiency in Revit required.
• Experience with 3D modelling in a common data environment (Autodesk Construction Cloud/BIM360).
• Understanding ISO 19650 information management principles.

Responsibilities

• Deliver CAD/BIM design data and quality control.
• Use 3D modelling to support design collaboration and clash resolution.
• Develop and maintain the common data environment platform.
• Create a standard BIM element library for model reuse.
• Validate CAD/BIM models from suppliers and integrate into models.
• Support the project teams in BIM adoption and supervise junior technicians.
