Job summary

Mott MacDonald Bentley is recruiting a BIM Technician in Leeds to deliver CAD/BIM data across the lifecycle of water projects. You will lead 3D modelling, model validation with suppliers, and support the common data environment (BIM360) across a range of schemes.

The role requires Revit expertise, relevant CAD/BIM qualifications, and knowledge of ISO 19650. We offer strong development, flexible working, and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Recognised qualification in CAD/BIM or related field.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Knowledge of water/wastewater/infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Deliver CAD/BIM design data and quality control.
• Use 3D modelling to support design collaboration and clash resolution.
• Support development of the common data environment platform (BIM360).
• Create a standardised BIM element library for model reuse.
• Ensure BIM data security and piracy controls.
• Validate CAD/BIM models from suppliers and integrate into models.
• Collaborate with designers to balance time, cost and quality.
• Promote safety, wellbeing, environment and sustainability in BIM outputs.
• Mentor less experienced BIM technicians and provide guidance.
