Job summary

WGM Engineering Ltd, part of RSK Group, is seeking a CAD/BIM Modeller to join our Technical & Design team in Glasgow on a permanent, full-time basis. Hybrid working and a 9-day fortnight with every second Friday off are offered, with relocation to Stepps within 6 months.

You will create and coordinate 3D models for multidisciplinary engineering projects, collaborating with Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Process and ICA teams to deliver buildable solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience producing 3D models and technical drawings in engineering, infrastructure or similar environments.
• Strong working knowledge of Revit, Civil 3D, Inventor or similar 3D design software.
• Experience interpreting drawings, specs and technical information.
• Understanding multidisciplinary design coordination and clash resolution.
• Attention to detail with high-quality design outputs.
• Ability to communicate across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Produce and develop coordinated 3D models and technical drawings for multidisciplinary engineering projects.
• Translate engineering concepts and design requirements into accurate digital models.
• Collaborate with Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Process and ICA teams to develop buildable solutions.
• Support projects from concept through design and construction.
• Participate in site surveys to support model development.
• Undertake model coordination and clash detection to resolve issues.
• Produce outputs in line with project and client requirements.
• Participate in design reviews and client workshops.
• Contribute to BIM standards and digital delivery improvements.
