Job summary

NRL Recruitment in Glasgow is seeking a Senior 3D Revit Designer for a major engineering project on a 12-month contract. The role requires strong BIM and CAD skills and the ability to work in secure environments.

Hybrid working from Glasgow site. You will deliver Revit models, produce 2D drawings from 3D data, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while ensuring compliance with security protocols.

Qualifications

• Experience with Revit, AutoCAD and Navisworks in BIM environments.
• Ability to produce 3D CAD information and 2D drawings from 3D data.
• Experience across electrical building services disciplines.
• Familiar with working in secure environments.
• UK residency of 5 years and sole UK national; eligible for SC clearance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality 3D Revit models in a BIM environment
• Produce detailed 2D drawings including layouts, sections, and elevations from 3D models
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support project requirements
• Maintain compliance with secure environment protocols
• Support electrical building services design within the project scope

Must-have Requirements

• Experience using Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks
• Proven ability to produce 3D CAD information in a BIM environment
• Skilled in creating 2D layouts and drawings from 3D data
• Capability across Electrical disciplines, including Electrical Building Services
• Familiarity with working within secure environments
• Relevant qualification(s)
• Sole UK national and eligible for SC clearance, with 5 years' UK residency

Nice-to-have Skills

• Additional experience with complex engineering projects
• Knowledge of industry standards and processes within regulated sectors
