Job summary

BAM UK & Ireland is recruiting a Sales Ledger, Billing and Receivables Specialist to join our Hemel Hempstead office, working 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday.

You will generate invoices and manage receivables, supporting cash allocations across multiple projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contractual terms. The role emphasizes collaboration with project managers and finance teams in a forward-thinking construction group.

Qualifications

• Min 1–3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or similar Finance role.
• Experience with invoice processing, reconciliations and customer management.
• Experience using ERP and finance systems (SAP/COINS/Rental Result/Direct Device).
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and data analysis ability.

Responsibilities

• Validate and process customer invoices and credit notes accurately.
• Maintain adherence to SLAs and credit control policies; ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with Commercial and Finance teams for timely cash application and discrepancy resolution.
• Support day-to-day receivables operations and ERP system activities; drive process improvements.
• Respond promptly to customer queries and manage shared mailboxes; reconcile accounts.
