Job summary

UK Power Networks is seeking a Billing Analyst in Crawley on a Fixed Term contract (9–12 months). The role focuses on end‑to‑end billing for a £2 billion income, handling invoices to suppliers and IDNOs, bank payments, and debt recovery. Blended working after probation (3 days in office, 2 remote) is offered.

Key responsibilities include data validation, MHHS dual‑system work, and collaboration with pricing and contract teams. Strong numeracy and data analysis are essential.

Qualifications

• Five GCSEs (A–C or 9-4) including English and Mathematics.
• Strong numeracy and excellent attention to detail, with the ability to work accurately with large datasets.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, able to present information confidently to all partners.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, raise, and issue invoices to electricity suppliers and IDNOs, ensuring all data is accurate.
• Allocate bank payments promptly and accurately, including identifying invoices and cross‑company payments.
• Chase outstanding balances and manage penalties for non‑payment.
