Job summary

Hamilton Barnes Associates Limited is recruiting a Billing Analyst to join its UK Managed Services Finance team, responsible for accurate invoicing and timely billing for high-value public sector customers.

You will manage monthly, quarterly and annual invoicing, resolve billing queries and liaise with customer AP teams, Orders, Sales and Customer Service as part of an upcoming transition to a new billing system in early 2027.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer billing, invoicing or finance operations.
• Experience within a high-value, low-volume services environment is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical ability.
• Good Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Highly organised, self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Comfortable working across multiple systems and adapting to changing processes.
• UK resident and able to obtain the required security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly and annual customer invoicing.
• Ensure invoices are accurate, approved and fully supported.
• Resolve billing queries, unbilled orders and outstanding invoices.
• Liaise with customer AP and commercial teams.
• Support month-end reporting and wider finance activities.
• Work closely with internal Orders, Sales and Customer Service teams.
• Support the new billing system implementation, including testing, data migration, training, go-live and dual running.
