Billing Assistant – Professional Services | Central London | Hybrid WorkingWe are working with a highly respected international professional services firm that is seeking a personable and dependable Billing Assistant to join their collaborative and supportive finance team in London.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced billing professional to take ownership of a busy and varied billing function within a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You'll play a vital role in ensuring smooth and accurate billing processes, supporting internal teams, and delivering excellent service to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing multiple billing inbox's and efficiently prioritising requests
Processing a high volume of client invoices using 3E or a similar system
Handling credit notes, billing amendments, and time transfers
Managing WIP and AR write-offs and assisting with complex billing queries
Performing client maintenance tasks and reconciling third-party invoices
Ensuring compliance with VAT regulations and Solicitors Accounts Rules
What We’re Looking For:
At least 2-3 years of billing experience within a professional services environment (legal sector experience is highly advantageous)
Familiarity with Elite 3E or similar billing software
Some knowledge of accounts payable processes
Proficiency in Excel desirable
Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive under pressure
