As our Accounts Receivable Assistant, you'll support the accounts receivable function. You'll ensure timely and accurate billing and assist with credit control responsibilities, such as payment processing and customer account management. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with approximately one year of experience looking to further their career in finance and accounting. This dynamic role provides exposure to accounting policies and international tax regulations by managing our global clients through our UK and US entities. You will also support the annual audit and have the opportunity to review inefficiencies and process improvements to drive GWI's future growth.
This role involves preparing and issuing client invoices, managing the accounts receivable (AR) inbox to address billing inquiries, and ensuring accurate monitoring and reconciliation of customer accounts by resolving discrepancies. It includes supporting cash collection efforts through follow-ups on overdue invoices and accurately posting and reconciling payments and refunds. Additionally, the role requires collaboration with the finance team for month-end closing processes and participation in special projects and report preparation as needed.
It's also fun; shaking things up is what working for a growing company is all about. So you'll need to be flexible, comfortable with continuous change, and working in a high-tempo environment as we grow.
