Job description

Our busy Billing Team is looking for a Billing Administrator to join a central finance resource supporting partners in dealing with pre and post-billing related administrative activities.

About the role

In this varied role, you will monitor the Partner & client portfolio of bills issued and ensure bills are dispatched within the firm’s policy time frame. Responsibilities include:

  • Requesting ad-hoc proformas and generating reports
  • Amending proformas upon request and inputting billing guide amendments into the pre-billing system in line with Partner/Associates requirements
  • Reviewing time narratives for accuracy and correcting typos
  • Forwarding billing guides to reviewers and editors as required
  • Dealing with invoice volumes and billing-related queries
  • Liaising with the Working Capital Support team to resolve complex queries
  • Preparing narratives and fee breakdowns
  • Preparing covering documents for dispatch for Partner/Associate review
  • Facilitating bill dispatch to clients as per their requirements
  • Liaising with the eBilling team on guidelines and portal requirements
  • Requesting credit notes/re-issue instructions and handling post-billing queries
  • Collaborating with finance teams to ensure accurate and timely bill preparation
