PiLON - United Infrastructure is seeking a Bid Writer to join our collaborative team, supporting growth in the social housing sector. You’ll produce high-quality bids, respond to PQQs and ITTs, and create case studies with input from across the business.

The role requires strong written English, ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines, and a proactive, team-focused mindset. APMP Foundation certification is a plus; a degree is preferred. Office-based role in the United Kingdom.

Qualifications

• Proven experience writing bids for construction or social housing projects.
• Excellent written English with strong grammar and clarity.
• Ability to manage multiple bids and meet tight deadlines.
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather inputs.
• Proficient in MS Word and general IT.
• Degree qualification or equivalent preferred.
• APMP Foundation certification is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Create persuasive, well-structured bid responses to PQQs and ITTs.
• Develop case studies and supporting materials.
• Maintain and update the bid library with relevant content.
• Ensure tone, branding and messaging across bid documents.
• Coordinate with technical and commercial teams for inputs.
• Support business development and align submissions with strategy.
• Meet deadlines with high-quality submissions.
