PiLON, part of United Infrastructure, is seeking a Bid Writer to craft high-quality responses to PQQs and ITTs and create supporting materials like case studies. You will collate technical inputs, ensure brand-aligned submissions, and collaborate across teams to support growth in the social housing sector.

The role suits detail-oriented writers who thrive in fast-paced environments and are motivated by delivering persuasive, compliant bids that reflect the company’s tone and standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in bid writing within the construction and social housing sector.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Exceptional written English, with grammar, clarity, and structure.
• Strong collaboration and communication across all levels of the business.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently and in a team.
• Proficiency in MS Word and general IT competence.
• Bonus if you have a degree or APMP Foundation certification.

Responsibilities

• Create persuasive, well-structured responses to PQQs, ITTs, and case studies.
• Manage and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high standards.
• Enhance and maintain the bid library with updated content.
• Uphold the company’s tone of voice, branding, and messaging across bid documents.
• Stay informed on market trends and client needs to bring innovation to submissions.
• Work closely with internal teams to gather technical and project inputs.
• Support business development initiatives and align submissions with strategic goals.
