Job summary

KBM Resourcing in Dundee is seeking a Proposals Coordinator to prepare and issue quotations in response to client enquiries, ensuring accuracy and alignment with pricing policies.

You will review technical drawings, coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Procurement and Finance to gather information, track the quotation pipeline, and keep records for audit and reference. This permanent, full-time role is 39 hours per week; salary is DOE.

Qualifications

• Must understand mechanical engineering concepts and drawings.
• Experience creating technical and commercial quotations.
• Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with MS Office and web portals.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue quotations in response to client enquiries.
• Review technical specs, drawings and commercial requirements.
• Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Procurement, Finance and others.
• Track quotation pipeline and log client requests to closure.
• Clarify requirements with customers and provide updates.
• Ensure compliance with bid procedures and document control.
• Maintain quotation records and pricing history for audits.
• Monitor deadlines and prioritise workload to meet targets.
• Support sales team with accurate, timely documentation.
• Suggest improvements to quotation processes.
