Job summary

Elis is seeking a bid/proposal professional to lead complex bids from review to submission, collaborating with cross-functional teams across UK operations. You will craft clear, customer-focused content, manage multiple projects, and ensure compliance with procurement requirements.

You will engage with stakeholders at all levels, maintain a content library, and continually improve bid processes to win new business for Elis in the UK market.

Qualifications

• Experience managing complex bids, tenders or proposals.
• Ability to turn information into clear, customer-focused content.
• Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple projects.
• Confidently engage with stakeholders at all levels.
• High attention to detail and quality mindset.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and proposal tools.
• Understanding UK procurement environments and compliance requirements.
• Degree or APMP certification is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Lead opportunities from first review through final submission.
• Bring together experts from across the business and keep projects moving.
• Craft engaging and persuasive responses to public and private sector tenders.
• Ensure submissions meet procurement, legal and compliance requirements.
• Challenge and improve content to strengthen bids.
• Manage clarification questions, supplier portals and customer interactions.
• Support presentations and help tell Elis’ story to stand out.
• Build and maintain a library of winning content, evidence and case studies.
• Continuously look for smarter ways to improve the bid process.
