Job summary

STRI Group is seeking an experienced bid professional to join its bid team. You will lead the development, coordination and submission of high-quality bids, tenders and RFP responses across the UK and international markets, ensuring consistency, quality and win-rate improvements.

The role requires coordinating technical, operational and commercial contributors, shaping bid strategies and managing governance and approvals to deliver compliant, compelling proposals on time.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Bid Manager or equivalent tender management professional.
• Experience leading end-to-end bid, tender and RFP programmes.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Excellent organisational abilities to manage multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end bid, tender and RFP programmes across the Group, from opportunity qualification to submission.
• Develop bid strategies, win themes and compliant submission structures.
• Coordinate contributors across technical, operational and commercial areas.
• Write, edit and tailor proposal content including executive summaries and methodologies.
• Manage governance, QA and internal approvals to ensure accurate, persuasive submissions.
• Coordinate pricing and commercial inputs with stakeholders, aligned to bid strategy.
• Own final production and submission activity with the Bid Coordinator.
• Maintain bid templates and content libraries with lessons learned.
