Job summary

Reed Property & Construction, in partnership with a well-established regional contractor, is seeking an experienced Bid Manager to join the growing pre-construction team. You will own the tender process from enquiry to submission, coordinating with estimators, operations and supply chain partners to develop winning bid strategies.

Qualifications

• Bid management experience within construction, or operational experience as a Project Manager, or Contracts Manager.
• Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong understanding of construction methodology, sequencing and project delivery.
• Experience working on competitive tenders, frameworks or negotiated projects.
• Construction-related degree or professional qualification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead bids from enquiry to submission.
• Develop high-quality tender submissions and bid strategies.
• Produce tender programmes, logistics plans and qualitative responses.
• Coordinate input from operational, commercial and supply chain teams.
• Review project information and identify innovative delivery solutions.
• Attend tender interviews and presentations where required.
• Manage smooth handovers to project delivery teams following award.
