Job summary

Poolhall Recruitment is seeking an experienced Bid Manager / Sales Estimator for a growing construction business delivering projects across the Home Counties, Bristol, London and the Midlands. You will lead tender submissions from enquiry through to contract award, ensuring competitive, accurate, and commercially robust proposals.

Key responsibilities include coordinating the full bid process, preparing cost estimates and pricing schedules, reviewing drawings and client requirements,

Qualifications

• Experience in Bid Manager, Estimator, Sales Estimator, or Pre-Construction role in construction.
• Tendering experience for industrial, fit-out, mixed-use, commercial, or car park projects.
• Strong commercial awareness with ability to produce accurate cost estimates.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the full tender and bid process from enquiry to contract award.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, pricing schedules, and tender submissions.
• Review drawings, specifications, and client requirements to develop winning bids.
• Collaborate with operational, commercial, and technical teams throughout the bid process.
• Support business development activities and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
• Prepare professional presentations and proposal documentation.
• Assist with contract negotiations and commercial discussions.
