Job summary

Sphere Solutions in Exeter is seeking an experienced Bid Manager to lead the bid process from PQQ/ITT to submission across major construction projects. You will coordinate internal teams, supply chain partners and contributors to develop compelling, commercially sound bids.

The role offers hybrid working and the chance to influence winning strategies for a Tier 1 contractor. You will manage multiple bids and deadlines with excellent written and stakeholder management skills, shaping project

Qualifications

• Proven Bid Management experience within construction, ideally with a Tier 1 or leading main contractor.
• Background in Pre-Construction, Project Management or Design Management considered.
• Strong knowledge of PQQ, ITT, tender and work-winning processes.
• Excellent written, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple bids, deadlines and priorities.
• Collaborative, commercially aware approach.

Ready to take the lead on bids that shape major construction projects?

We're working with a leading Tier 1 construction business that is looking to appoint an experienced Bid Manager to join its Exeter team.

This is an opportunity to play a key role in winning and delivering complex construction work, working alongside operational, commercial and pre-construction teams to develop compelling, commercially sound bids.

The opportunity

• Lead the bid process from PQQ / ITT through to submission.
• Develop winning strategies, compelling written submissions and high-quality presentations.
• Coordinate internal teams, supply chain partners and specialist contributors.
• Work on a diverse range of significant construction projects and frameworks.

We're looking for someone with:

• Proven Bid Management experience within construction, ideally with a Tier 1 or leading main contractor.
• Someone from a Pre-Construction, Project Management or Design Management background looking to move into Bid management would also be considered.
• Strong knowledge of PQQ, ITT, tender and work-winning processes.
• Excellent written, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• The ability to manage multiple bids, deadlines and competing priorities.
• A collaborative, commercially aware approach.
