Job summary

SES Engineering Services are seeking a Bid Manager on a full-time permanent contract to join our South team, supporting the South regions to manage the bid process for adjudication. This role focuses on pre-construction activity and requires coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to present a cohesive bid.

You will work within a talented, diverse, and supportive team, with opportunities to advance your career as part of SES’s bid governance framework and broader regional projects.

Qualifications

• Experience leading bid strategy and governance on major tenders.
• Ability to manage stakeholders and suppliers across multiple interfaces.
• Delivery of bid on time and to the required standard.

The role:

SES Engineering Services are looking for a Bid Manager on a full-time permanent contract to join our South team supporting the South regions to manage SES Engineering Services individual project bid process to ensure that a properly considered and co-ordinated bid can be presented for adjudication.

What you'll be doing:

Our Bid Managers are a valuable part of our business, leading the way to provide leadership on tenders in accordance with the SES Bid Strategy and governance.

As a Bid Manager you will be involved in the following:

• Implementation of agreed bid strategy


• Project specific stakeholder management


• Delivery of settlement requirements


• Chairing project settlements


• Managing input/output from internal and external resource


• Agree supply chain with business unit


• Responsible for the delivery of the bid on time and to the required standard
