Job summary

Girling Jones Ltd has partnered with a major UK contractor to recruit a Bid Coordinator for its South West frameworks and work-winning team. Based from Plymouth, Exeter or Bristol with hybrid working, you will coordinate bids, gather contributions and ensure timely, compliant submissions.

You’ll gain exposure across tenders, PQQs and case studies, maintain content for future bids and support the brand standards while developing within a busy, supportive bidding function.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in preparing bids within construction or infrastructure.
• GCSE English and Maths required.
• Strong proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign) and graphic tools.
• Proposals training such as Shipley or Winning Bids Masterclass.
• Excellent proofreading and document production skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the preparation of tenders, PQQs and case studies.
• Gather information from teams and integrate into cohesive submissions.
• Structure and format documents to professional standards.
• Ensure submissions comply with client requirements and brand guidelines.
• Produce graphics to support key messages.
• Manage submission deadlines and tender portals.
• Attend bid kick-off meetings and progress reviews.
• Maintain knowledge management content for future bids.
