Bidrecruitment is recruiting a Bid Coordinator in Manchester to own the bid lifecycle, coordinate inputs, manage deadlines and produce compelling submissions for an established architecture practice.

You will collaborate with Partners and stakeholders, contribute to BD activity and help drive continuous improvement across processes and lessons learned. Hybrid role: 3 days in Manchester, up to 2 days remote.

Qualifications

  • Experience working on bids or tenders, ideally within architecture, construction or a related sector.
  • Excellent Adobe InDesign skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent proofreading and attention to detail.
  • Highly organised with strong time management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate bids through the full lifecycle, from opportunity through to submission
  • Manage multiple bids, deadlines and stakeholder requirements simultaneously
  • Work closely with Partners, project teams and subject matter experts
  • Produce high-quality bid submissions using Adobe InDesign
  • Develop layouts and source relevant imagery, graphics and supporting materials
  • Review, edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Maintain the internal bid library, including CVs, case studies and photography
  • Support bid reviews, analysis and lessons learned
  • Identify opportunities to improve bid processes and efficiencies
  • Collaborate with Business Development and Marketing on wider work-winning initiatives

Job description

An established architecture and heritage practice is looking for a Bid Coordinator to join their collaborative team in Manchester.

This is a creative bid coordination role for someone who enjoys taking ownership of the bid process, working closely with Partners and stakeholders, and producing high-quality, visually engaging submissions.

The role would suit an experienced Bid Coordinator looking to develop their career within an established practice, or someone with strong design, marketing or bid experience who is looking to move further into bid management.

You’ll have genuine ownership across the full bid lifecycle, from coordinating inputs and managing deadlines through to producing and reviewing the final submission. There’s also scope to contribute to wider business development and marketing activity, as well as improving processes and developing lessons learned.

Ideally, you’ll have experience within architecture, construction, engineering or a related professional services environment. Strong Adobe InDesign skills are essential, alongside excellent organisation, communication and proofreading skills.

This is a hybrid role, working a minimum of 3 days per week in their Manchester office, with up to 2 days working from home.
