Job summary

innocent Alps GmbH is seeking a BI Developer to turn data from multiple systems into trusted analytical datasets and build scalable data solutions. You’ll design dimensional models, develop T-SQL transformations, and create Power BI semantic models for enterprise reporting and self-serve analytics.

You’ll work with BI Analysts, Data Engineers and business stakeholders to deliver reliable, business-ready data and contribute to evolving analytics and AI capabilities across the organization.

Qualifications

• Experience designing dimensional data models with fact and dimension tables.
• Strong T-SQL skills including views, stored procedures and optimization.
• Understanding of Kimball data modelling concepts (grain, surrogate keys, conformed dimensions, star schemas).
• Experience turning raw/operational data into trusted datasets.
• Ability to investigate complex data issues and reason through them.
• Confidence explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and build enterprise data products from multiple sources into trusted analytical datasets.
• Create fact and dimension models to simplify complex business data.
• Develop views, procedures and transformation logic using T-SQL.
• Build and optimise Power BI semantic models for reports and self-serve analytics.
• Turn business requirements into scalable data solutions reused across teams.
• Improve performance, quality and reliability of analytics solutions.
• Collaborate with BI Analysts, Data Engineers and stakeholders to solve business problems.
• Share knowledge and raise analytics standards across innocent.
