Job summary

innocent Limited is seeking a BI Developer to turn data from multiple systems into trusted, enterprise data products and analytics. You will build dimensional models, optimise T‑SQL, and develop Power BI semantic models to support reporting and self‑serve analytics.

You’ll work closely with BI Analysts, Data Engineers and business stakeholders to understand processes behind the data and deliver scalable solutions that enable better decisions across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Strong experience creating dimensional data models using fact and dimension tables.
• Excellent T‑SQL skills, including views, stored procedures and query optimisation.
• Understanding of Kimball data modelling concepts (grain, surrogate keys, conformed dimensions, star schemas).
• Experience turning raw/operational data into trusted datasets for analytics.
• Ability to investigate complex data issues and explain technical concepts.

Responsibilities

• Designing and building enterprise data products from multiple systems into trusted analytical datasets.
• Creating fact and dimension models to simplify complex data for users.
• Developing views, stored procedures and transformation logic in T‑SQL.
• Building and optimising Power BI semantic models for reporting and self-serve analytics.
• Turning business requirements into scalable data solutions reusable across teams.
• Supporting and improving analytics performance, quality and reliability.
• Collaborating with BI Analysts, Data Engineers and stakeholders to solve business problems.
• Sharing knowledge and contributing to development standards.
