Job summary

innocent is seeking a BI Developer to turn data from multiple systems into trusted analytical datasets and to build enterprise data products using SQL, Kimball modelling concepts, Microsoft Fabric and Power BI. You’ll design and optimise semantic models, support reporting and enable self-serve analytics across the business.

Qualifications

• Experience creating dimensional data models with fact and dimension tables.
• Strong T-SQL skills including views, stored procedures and query optimisation.
• Knowledge of Kimball data modelling concepts including grain, surrogate keys, conformed dimensions, and star schemas.

Responsibilities

• Designing and building enterprise data products that combine data from multiple business systems into trusted analytical datasets.
• Creating fact and dimension models that make complex business data easy to understand and use.
• Developing views, stored procedures and transformation logic using Transact-SQL (T-SQL).
• Building and optimising Power BI semantic models that support reporting and self-serve analytics.
• Turning business requirements into scalable data solutions that can be reused across teams.
• Supporting and improving the performance, quality and reliability of analytics solutions.
• Working closely with BI Analysts, Data Engineers and business stakeholders to solve real business problems.
• Sharing knowledge, contributing to development standards and helping raise the bar for analytics across innocent.
