Harnham is seeking a hands-on BI Developer to join our Sheffield team. You will own end-to-end BI development, delivering Power BI dashboards, semantic models, and robust data pipelines that drive business decisions.

The role emphasizes collaboration with stakeholders, translating requirements into actionable analytics and reports. You'll design dimensional data models, optimise SQL queries, and ensure data quality across analytics initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong BI development experience with Power BI, SQL and data modelling.
• Proficient in DAX and semantic layer design.
• Able to engage stakeholders and translate requirements into BI solutions.
• Experience building dashboards and reports for commercial insight.
• Familiarity with star schemas and dimensional modelling.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for diverse stakeholders (Power BI).
• Design and develop semantic models, star schemas, and dimensional models.
• Write and optimise SQL queries to support reporting and analysis.
• Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate into BI solutions.
• Advise on dashboard design, reporting best practice, and data visualization.
• Manage pipeline of reporting requests and prioritise business needs.
• Ensure reporting delivers clear commercial value and insights.
• Support data quality, governance, and continuous improvement.
