Job summary

Harnham - Data & Analytics Recruitment is seeking a Senior BI Developer / Senior Data Analyst in Wolverhampton on a hybrid basis. You will build Power BI dashboards, develop semantic models, and work with stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable insights.

The role sits at the intersection of BI development and commercial analytics, with heavy emphasis on data quality, self-service analytics, and reporting standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in BI, Data Analytics, or BI Development.
• Strong Power BI experience including DAX, Power Query, and data modelling.
• Proficient SQL skills and ability to design dimensional models.
• Experience translating business requirements into scalable reporting solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to turn data into actionable insights and recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions.
• Build scalable semantic models and reusable datasets.
• Collaborate with Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to gather requirements.
• Deliver actionable insights and drive adoption of self-service analytics.
• Contribute to data platform development and data integration improvements.
