Overview
The Beverage Porter is responsible for the maintenance of beverage stations, bars, portable bars, and lounges in the gaming areas.
Responsibilities
- Delivers exceptional guest service (i.e., prompt, friendly, professional, and responsive), using proper greeting and departure phrases and service standards.
- Responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of the beverage station areas.
- Removes trash, refills condiments, cleans service trays and other beverage equipment, and performs other related duties.
- Responsible for stocking and cleaning bars and portable bars including stocking beer, liquor, and ice.
- Responsible for retrieving, and restocking, glassware for bars.
- Responsible for cleaning and bussing lounge areas associated with bars including removing trash, wiping down tables and bar tops, and re-arranging furniture.
- Maintains beverage products and inventory levels at all beverage stations.
- Notifies Beverage Supervisor/Beverage Manager of any beverage equipment requiring repairs.
- Notifies Beverage Supervisor/Beverage Manager of any beverage related products that require replenishment such as ashtrays, cup holders, etc.
- Communicates other beverage service issues that arise to the Beverage Supervisor/Beverage Manager.
- Delivers excellent guest service based on service standards established by management when performing tasks in guest facing areas.
- Effectively communicates with management and other personnel as it relates to servicing guests’ needs.

- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Certificate.
- Must be 21 years of age or older to sell or serve distilled spirits. Team Members under 21 but at least 18 years of age may sell beer and wine.
- Must register in the RBS Portal, take training from an authorized RBS Training Provider, and pass the ABC Alcohol Server Certification exam within 30 days of their confirmed training.
- Previous experience in guest services is preferred.
- Basic computer proficiency utilizing Microsoft applications, email, and internet.
- Willingness to work flexible schedules in a 24/7 work environment, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
- Must apply for, receive, and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Agency.
