Job summary

SF Recruitment are working with an established specialist manufacturer in Leicestershire to recruit a Production Manager for their bespoke joinery operation. You’ll lead a skilled team across joinery, machining and related production activities, ensuring projects are planned, produced safely and to the required quality.

The role requires extensive bespoke joinery experience, strong capability in planning, reading drawings and managing deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bespoke joinery experience is essential.
• Ability to read and challenge technical drawings confidently.
• Strong planning and leadership skills in a non-high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule multiple bespoke joinery projects through the workshop.
• Lead and develop a skilled production team across joinery and machining.
• Monitor labour hours, materials and progress to meet project requirements.
• Review drawings and cutting lists before release to production.
• Maintain high quality standards throughout production.
• Support apprentices and develop less experienced team members.
