Job summary

SF Group is seeking a Joinery Project Manager in Leicestershire to lead projects from concept through manufacture, delivery and installation within a busy manufacturing environment.

You will manage budgets, timescales, quality and overall delivery, acting as the main point of contact for customers. Coordinate CAD/design, purchasing, production and ERP data to ensure on-time, on-budget outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience leading projects from concept to install in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production environments.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and communicate with CAD/design teams.
• Experience managing project costs, budgets and variations.
• Experience coordinating suppliers, subcontractors and purchasing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects from initial handover through design, manufacture, delivery and installation.
• Take responsibility for project budgets, timescales, quality and overall delivery.
• Act as the main point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Attend client and site meetings where required.
• Carry out site surveys, including final measurements, templating and reviewing construction details.
• Coordinate all relevant project documentation and ensure information is accurately maintained within the ERP system.
• Brief internal CAD Designers and ensure drawings reflect customer and manufacturing requirements.
• Work with Production to establish practical manufacturing methods.
• Coordinate purchasing requirements and liaise with suppliers and external supply chain.
• Produce quotations for specification changes and revisions to live projects.
• Support the Estimating team with quotations during busy periods.
• Prepare Health & Safety documentation and O&M manuals.
• Lead post-project profitability reviews and analyse costs vs budget.
