Job summary

Menzies Distribution Solutions Ltd is recruiting for a Bendi/Flexi/Reach Driver in Scunthorpe to support night shift operations. The role involves picking, packing and dispatch, with safety at the forefront, and additional duties to ensure efficient warehouse output.

Applicants must hold Bendi/Flexi, Reach or Counterbalance licenses and have experience in a warehouse environment. Hours are 42 per week, with 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00 shifts and a 42-hour weekly schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience operating within a warehouse environment.
• MHE – Bendi/Flexi Reach/Counterbalance/PPT licenses essential
• Good communication & team working skills
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills
• A professional manner
• Good computer literacy (Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel)

Responsibilities

• Co-operate fully with the site's safety requirements.
• Receive deliveries of customer stock from trailers into warehouse; check quantities, record receipt and pass on paperwork.
• Pick and pack customer orders to targets; dispatch with paperwork; full pallet and manual case/break picks.
• Load trailers with customer goods in a timely manner.
• Put away customer goods from the warehouse floor into the racking.
• Manual handling of products.
• Signing for and accepting responsibility for tasks completed.
• Housekeeping and hygiene checks.
• Stock integrity and quality checks.
• Keep warehouse and forecourts clean and tidy.

Bendi/Flexi/Reach Driver

Menzies Distribution Solutions are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives with Bendi/Flexi Licencesto join our night team in Scunthorpe to provide accurate and prompt picking, packing and dispatch of the warehouse goods. The role requirements are to complete various warehouse tasks, as safely, accurately and as efficiently as possible upholding and the highest standards of health and safety at all times. Also includes other duties to help maintain the efficient and successful working of the warehouse.

*** FLT – for your application to be considered you must hold a valid Bendi/Flexi, Reach or Counterbalance license***

The Details:

• Salary: £28,338.26 Per Annum, £12.97 Per Hour
• Shift Pattern: Monday - FridayRotating
• Hours: 06:00-14:00 & 14:00-22:00 (1 X 10 Hour Shift)
• 42 hours per week
• Full-time, permanent
• Monthly Pay

Key Duties and Accountabilities (will include but not be limited to)

• Co-operate fully with the sites safety requirements.
• Receive deliveries of customer stock from trailers into warehouse. Check quantities, record receipt and pass on paperwork
• Pick and pack customer orders to achieve agreed turn-round targets, dispatching orders with appropriate paperwork. Both full pallet and manual case/break picked from the racking and ground locations.
• Load trailers with customer goods in timely manner
• Put away of customer goods from the warehouse floor into the racking.
• Manual handling of products
• Signing for and accepting responsibility for tasks that have been completed.
• Housekeeping, both physical completion and hygiene checks.
• Stock integrity and quality checks.
• Keep warehouse and outside forecourts clean and tidy including shelf dusting, keeping gangways clear and litter removal.

Key Experience and Qualifications:

• Experience operating within a warehouse environment
• MHE – Bendi/Flexi Rach/Counterbalance/PPT licenses essential
• Good communication & team working skills
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills
• A professional manner
• Good computer literacy (Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel)
