Job summary

Menzies Distribution Solutions are recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join our night team in Scunthorpe. You will handle picking, packing and dispatch of warehouse goods, following safety standards and processes.

The role is full-time, permanent, on a 4 On/4 Off day pattern with 06:00-18:00 shifts and 42 hours per week. Salary is £31,044.21 per annum, paid monthly, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency in a busy warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
• Experience operating within a warehouse environment.
• MHE licences (Articulated/Counterbalance/PPT) preferable.
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Co-operate fully with the site safety requirements.
• Receive deliveries of customer stock from trailers into warehouse, check quantities, record receipt and pass on paperwork.
• Pick and pack customer orders to achieve agreed turnaround targets, dispatching orders with appropriate paperwork.
• Load trailers with customer goods in a timely manner.
• Put away customer goods from the warehouse floor into the racking.
• Manual handling of products.
• Sign for and accept responsibility for tasks completed.
• Housekeeping as required; ensure cleanliness and hygiene checks.
• Stock integrity and quality checks.
• Keep warehouse and forecourts clean and tidy.

Menzies Distribution Solutions are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join our night team in Scunthorpe to provide accurate and prompt picking, packing and dispatch of the warehouse goods. The role requirements are to complete various warehouse tasks, as safely, accurately and as efficiently as possible upholding and the highest standards of health and safety at all times. Also includes other duties to help maintain the efficient and successful working of the warehouse.

The Details:

• Salary: £31,044.21 Per Annum
• Shift Pattern: 4 On/4 Off Days
• Hours:06:00-18:00

Key Duties and Accountabilities (will include but not be limited to)

• Co-operate fully with the sites safety requirements.
• Receive deliveries of customer stock from trailers into warehouse. Check quantities, record receipt and pass on paperwork
• Pick and pack customer orders to achieve agreed turn-round targets, dispatching orders with appropriate paperwork. Both full pallet and manual case/break picked from the racking and ground locations.
• Load trailers with customer goods in timely manner
• Put away of customer goods from the warehouse floor into the racking.
• Manual handling of products
• Signing for and accepting responsibility for tasks that have been completed.
• Housekeeping, both physical completion and hygiene checks.
• Stock integrity and quality checks.
• Keep warehouse and outside forecourts clean and tidy including shelf dusting, keeping gangways clear and litter removal.

Key Experience and Qualifications:

• Good communication & team working skills

• Experience operating within a warehouse environment
• MHE – Articulated/Counterbalance/PPT licenses preferable
• Good computer literacy (Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel)
