Menzies Distribution Solutions have an excellent opportunity for a Flexi Forklift Driver to join our team based in Normanton, Wakefield. The role involves picking, packing and dispatching goods with strict health and safety standards, plus additional warehouse duties to support efficient operations.

Shift pattern is 4 On/4 Off Days, 06:00-18:00, 38.5 paid hours per week, with a salary of £27,527.44 and a flexi allowance of £1.00 per hour. OTE including flexi allowance is £29,529.

Qualifications

• Good communication and teamwork.
• Basic numeracy and literacy.

• Experience operating within a warehouse environment.
• MHE licences preferable (Articulated/Counterbalance/PPT).
• Good computer literacy (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Co-operate fully with the site's safety requirements.
• Receive deliveries of customer stock from trailers into warehouse; check quantities and pass on paperwork.
• Pick and pack customer orders to targets; dispatch with paperwork; full pallet and manual case/break picks from racks and ground locations.
• Load trailers with customer goods promptly.
• Put away goods from warehouse floor into the racking.
• Manual handling of products.
• Sign for and accept completed tasks.
• Housekeeping and hygiene checks.
• Stock integrity and quality checks.
• Keep warehouse and forecourts tidy and free from litter.

Flexi Forklift Driver (4 On/4 Off Days)

Menzies Distribution Solutions have an excellent opportunity for aFlexi Forklift Driver, to join our teambased in Normanton to provide accurate and prompt picking, packing and dispatch of the depot warehouse goods.The role requirements are to complete various warehouse tasks, as safely, accurately and as efficiently as possible upholding and the highest standards of health and safety at all times. Also includes other duties to help maintain the efficient and successful working of the warehouse.

The Details:

• Shift Pattern: 4 On/4 Off Days
• Hours: 06:00-18:00
• 38.5 paid hours / week
• Salary: £27,527.44
• Flexi Allowance is paid at £1.00 additional per hour
• OTE including Flexi Allowance £29,529

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

• It is essential that you have a valid license for either CB, Reach or Flexi FLT and you will not be shortlisted if it is not clear on your CV that you have a valid current license
• If you have a Reach Forklift Licence, or 5 years FLT experience/licence we are able to upskill you to Flexi Licence

Key Duties and Accountabilities (will include but not be limited to)

• Co-operate fully with the sites safety requirements.
• Receive deliveries of customer stock from trailers into warehouse. Check quantities, record receipt and pass on paperwork
• Pick and pack customer orders to achieve agreed turn-round targets, dispatching orders with appropriate paperwork. Both full pallet and manual case/break picked from the racking and ground locations.
• Load trailers with customer goods in timely manner
• Put away of customer goods from the warehouse floor into the racking.
• Manual handling of products
• Signing for and accepting responsibility for tasks that have been completed.
• Housekeeping, both physical completion and hygiene checks.
• Stock integrity and quality checks.
• Keep warehouse and outside forecourts clean and tidy including shelf dusting, keeping gangways clear and litter removal.

Key Experience and Qualifications:

• Good communication & team working skills
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills
• A professional manner
• Experience operating within a warehouse environment
• MHE – Articulated/Counterbalance/PPT licenses preferable
• Good computer literacy (Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel)
