Job summary

Prime-Appointments is recruiting a Bench Joiner for a Witham-based role. The job involves assembling components and reading technical drawings, using saws, routers and planers, and finishing timber products for varnish or paint. Hours are 8am–5pm, Monday to Friday, with pay up to £18 per hour.

Initially a temporary position with a view to permanent, candidates with bench joining or cabinet making experience and the ability to work independently are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in bench joining or cabinet making.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Competence in operating timber working machinery and hand tools.
• Experience finishing timber products for varnish, stain or paint.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components to project specifications.
• Read from technical drawings to guide production.

• Sand and finish timber products to achieve a flawless surface ready for varnishing or painting.

A company in Witham who manufacture retail products are looking for people with Bench Joining or Cabinet Making experience.

The company are looking for experience people that are able to come in and get on with the task in hand.

They are offering up to £18ph, working 8am till 5pm Monday to Friday.

• Assembling components
• Reading from technical drawings
• Operating machinery
• Using saws, routers, and planers
• Sanding, scraping, and planing the final assembled timber products to ensure a flawless texture ready for varnishing, staining, or painting
