Job summary

Oscar & Harvey Limited in Barnsley is seeking an experienced Bench Joiner to join its hands-on manufacturing team. You will carry out general assembly and assist in producing bespoke fitted furniture for kitchens and bedrooms, using hand and power tools to achieve precise finishes.

The role is full-time and permanent, with Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm hours, on-site parking available. Previous bench joinery or related manufacturing experience is preferred, and candidates with practical

A well-established, family-run fitted furniture manufacturer based in Barnsley is looking for an experienced Bench Joiner to join its team.

With more than 40 years' experience in the fitted furniture industry, the business specialises in producing high-quality, bespoke products for the kitchen and bedroom market. As a family-run company, it places real value on its employees and offers a friendly working environment where individuals can develop their skills and knowledge.

The successful Bench Joiner will work as part of the manufacturing team, carrying out general assembly and assisting with the production of bespoke fitted furniture. The role will involve working with hand and power tools and ensuring finished products meet the required standards of quality and accuracy.

Previous bench joinery or manufacturing experience is preferred, along with good practical skills and confidence using hand and power tools. The successful candidate will need excellent attention to detail, good timekeeping and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a busy production environment.

This is a hands-on opportunity for an experienced joiner looking to join a friendly, established business where their skills are valued and there is scope to develop further.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.00am - 5.00pm
