New Directions Education in Wakefield is recruiting for a pool of passionate Behaviour Support Workers to support learners across school settings and outdoor learning facilities.
You will provide 1:1 and small group support, use trauma-informed strategies, and work with teachers, therapists and pastoral teams to promote positive behaviour and safe learning environments.
Successful candidates will have Team-Teach training or equivalent, strong communication, and ability to stay calm under pressure.

This role involves working closely with teaching staff, therapists, outside agencies such as social workers, also pastoral teams to promote positive behaviour plans ensuring a safe and supporting learning environment for learners.
