Job summary

Aspire People are seeking an experienced Cover Supervisor to join a secondary school in Rhondda Cynon Taf on a full-time basis, starting immediately. This role involves supporting students in an alternative curriculum setting who may present challenging behaviour, providing guidance, structure and positive role models to help them engage with learning.

You will supervise lessons, deliver pre-planned activities across a range of subjects, and work closely with staff to support student progress

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Cover Supervisor or similar roles.
• Excellent behaviour management and resilience.
• Strong communication and relationship-building.
• Patient, adaptable and committed to helping young people.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support students in an alternative curriculum setting.
• Deliver pre-planned lessons and activities across subjects.
• Build positive relationships to encourage engagement in learning.
