We are seeking an enthusiastic, compassionate and committed individual to join our highly regarded pastoral team. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young people and helping them achieve success. You will play a key role in leading our Behaviour Support Room, creating a calm and supportive environment where students can reflect, regulate and refocus.
The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator with strong emotional intelligence and the ability to build positive relationships with young people. They will support students through restorative conversations, helping them learn from challenging situations and make positive choices going forward and develop strategies for future success.
You will work closely with our pastoral and inclusion teams, supporting students with a wide range of needs and contributing to interventions that improve wellbeing, behaviour and engagement with learning. The role also involves maintaining accurate behaviour records and identifying patterns that can help shape effective support strategies.

Working hours are 37 per week based on 8.00am - 4.10pm Monday-Thursday, 8.00am - 3.40pm Friday. Working weeks will be term time plus 5 staff learning days: 39 weeks per year in total.
Salary will be paid at Band H, £31,537 to £34,434 pa pro-rata: starting point depending on experience and qualifications. Salary for actual hours worked is calculated at £27,321 to £29,831 per annum subject to any continuous service.
