Job summary

Protocol Education Limited is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support Assistant to join a supportive school environment in Sunderland. The role focuses on helping students who require additional support to overcome barriers to learning, building their confidence, resilience and positive relationships.

You will provide 1:1 and small‑group support, deliver mentoring and intervention sessions, encourage positive behaviour and attendance, and work closely with teaching and pastoral staff to implement

• Strong interpersonal skills are required.
• A genuine passion for supporting young people is important.
• Experience working with challenging behaviour is beneficial.
• Having a valid driver's license is highly desirable.

Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am - 3:30pm
Contract: Full-Time
