Job summary

Tradewind Education Agency is seeking dedicated Behaviour Support Assistants to work in one of our secondary schools just outside Swindon. The role involves supporting students with challenging behaviour, building positive relationships, and implementing school behaviour plans in a full-time, 8:30–3:30 schedule.

The agency emphasises strong support for its staff, access to CPD resources, and flexible local assignments.

Qualifications

• Experience dealing with challenging behaviour in a school setting.
• Availability for full-time work Monday to Friday, 8:30 am–3:30 pm.
• Relevant qualifications and certifications are desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualised support to students displaying challenging behaviour.
• Implement behaviour management strategies as directed by the school.
• Build positive relationships to support academic and emotional development.
• Collaborate with teachers to develop and monitor behaviour support plans.
• Use de-escalation techniques to manage disruptive behaviour when necessary.
