About the Role
Vision for Education is thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about entering the education sector. We partner with local SEND schools to provide comprehensive training and hands-on experience to Behaviour Support Assistants.
After a successful interview and completion of necessary safeguarding and identity checks, we ll work with you to secure a paid placement in a school, where you can grow your skills and expertise. You'll have the chance to choose a specialist area across Key Stages 1-5 and develop your identity as an educator.
Training Provided:
Before your placement begins, you ll complete a FREE training program designed by Vision for Education in collaboration with school leaders, equipping you with the skills you need to succeed as a Teaching Assistant.
About the School
Teaching Assistants play a crucial role in supporting the smooth running of any school. The most effective Teaching Assistants communicate well and are passionate about meeting the day-to-day needs of students. Building strong relationships with both staff and students is key to success in this role.
The responsibilities may vary, but typically include assisting with whole-class teaching, running small group interventions, or offering 1:1 support to ensure all children can thrive.
