Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our team and support students with various SEN needs in primary schools across Romford. Key Responsibilities:

  • Encourage Engagement: Support students during class activities, ensuring they understand instructions and remain engaged.
  • Positive Behaviour Management: Use positive reinforcement techniques to manage and de-escalate challenging behaviour.
  • Communication: Build strong relationships with teachers, parents, and other professionals, ensuring a collaborative approach to the child's education.
  • Inclusive Environment: Foster an inclusive and welcoming classroom environment where all students feel supported and valued.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN).
  • A patient, empathetic approach to supporting students.
  • Ability to adapt to various learning styles and use a variety of teaching methods.
  • Strong communication skills to work effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
  • A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) and the right to work in the UK.
